i have had enough. these people have gone too far. today's occurances were minor yes, but still they are f**king with us, and i have simply had enough.

http://www.islingtongazette.com/content/islington/gazette/news/story.aspx?brand=ISLGOnline&category=news&tBrand=northlondon24&tCategory=newsislg&itemid=WeED13%20Jul%202005%2013%3A28%3A06%3A253

i know thats one long link but it is a news story from my local paper.

this happened on that dreaded thursday when they first struck. this girl worked in a bank near the pub i work in. she came in with mates all the time. i'm actually good mates with one of her friends too.

When he found out that she had died, he was in my pub drinking with friends and i was behind the bar serving. he was distraught as anyone would be.

when i saw how upset he was, i snapped inside. i want to see their blood spilled and nothing short of it. these sick, sick people need to be punished and the more painful it is, the better.

Honestly officer, it's for medicinal purposes! Just ask my doctor, he's right over there eating the curtains!

Police have shot a man at a Tube station this morning.

Hope paranoia isn't setting in.

Mr Whitby, told BBC News: "I saw an Asian guy run onto the train hotly pursued by three plain-clothes police officers.

"One of them was carrying a black handgun - it looked like an automatic - they pushed him to the floor, bundled on top of him and unloaded five shots into him."

Hmmm, bit excessive innit? I mean bundled on top of him, so I guess they had caught him.... and FIVE shots? I hope he was a terrorist after all that!

He said the guy had a really big jacket on so it could have conceiled a bomb of some sort.

I agree though, it is excessive. I can't think of a good reason to kill someone who has already been immobilised. Surely he would have been more useful alive, for interrogation to help stop any other terrorists?

Only reason I can think of was to stop him blowing himself and the train up. Maybe he had explosives under that coat. Saying that though, depending onthe placement of the shots they could easily have detonated the device by firing on it

I hope it wasn't another attempt, my parents are in Central London this weekend

^^^ Looks like that was the reason, he had a bomb belt or something on.

Yeh apparently they had been following him on cctv cameras all morning acting suspiciously. They had to shoot him in the head incase he had explosives strapped to his body. Bout time we got hard if you ask me.

I think if a suspect runs away from cops at a tube station when asked to stop they should be shot until we no there's no way they can kill innocent people.

It's not a game whats goin on jus now and i'm not sayin anythin daft like victamise people for no reason, but you cant take chances with under surveillance suspects in public places. People will say 5 shots is excessive but cant be easy for armed police at moment they've not had to deal with this sorta thing before. These people dont give a f**k about anythin so at the end of the day are a major danger.

My da was workin in london today said euston was evacuated on his way home but nothin came of it in the end.

But yet again we cant stop doin normal things i'm catchin northern line tomorrow hopin it's not disrupted, but must admit would feel a lot worse livin in central like jester (sorry bout your friend, hope your doin best you can mate). even my brothers in wembley has been a strange atmosphere a sorta eerieness everywhere you go.

But as has been said a lot londoners are very proud, brave people, one thing i've noticed since movin nearby.

Venga familia!!!

Thats pretty harsh, you really trust the police in that situation to make so permanent desisions?
Though i dont really know what its like, as i highly doubt any terrorist will ever attack Finland. Just too small country to make big headlines... (Though when the first bombing was, some teens here heard in a bus a foreign guy speaking on a phone in english about some explosions happening tomorrow, this was day before it happened o_O)
