Everyone does it differently. Sometimes when i want absolutely clean cuts i use the phono/line switches for that and sometimes the crossfader but it needs fixing as it bleeds and fuzzes. The vert faders on mine are too stiff for cuts

I copied the following message from another post I made in another forum section... very relevant here...
If you've never heard Freeform, stop what you are doing RIGHT NOW and IMMEDIATELY GO TO www.sonicfury.net and download and listen to any of the following sets from the audio section to hear some of the best pumping Freeform/Trancecore:
(or go directly there by clicking here -> http://www.sonicfury.net/audio.php3?style=5 ) NOTE: They are organized in approximate order of my personal preference... STUDIO MIXES Tilzs - Chaos Theory Tilzs - Internet Mix #2 Tilzs - Lost Souls LIVE SETS Tilzs - Live at Kiareskyooro in Cedar Rapids, IA Tilzs - Live at Summer Daze in Minneapolis, MN Tilzs vs Plastic Portal - Live at Logic in Waterloo, IA Tilzs - Live at SunFest2000 in Denver, CO Tilzs - Live at Temptation in Seattle, WA Tilzs - Live at Higher in Lexington, KY In my opinion, Freeform/Trancecore is the most well produced sub-genre in all of hardcore (from that I've heard)... Especially tracks released on the Nu Energy, Stomping Choons, Digital Beats and Bonkerz labels. DJ Tilzs is the arguably the BEST Freeform/Trancecore DJ in North America and he has made huge waves in pioneering this genre in North America. He has started his own record label along with partner Plastic Portal called Madness & Mayhem Recordings = http://www.mmrecordings.com/ Hope you LOVE it as much as I do! :) Sal

Where can I learn more about freeform? Everything I've heard, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!!!! I'm in the US, and I'd like to know some websites where I can find the tracks on vinyl to buy?
What are some more record labels/producers/djs I can check out? I'm officially HOOKED!

Labels to check: Bonkers, Bonkerz, DATA, Digital Beats, FBI, FEDS, Nu Energy, Stompin' Choonz, Madness & Mayhem, Romantek, Go Mental Dark, GBT, RSR, Krafty, and certain releases on React, JAL, UV, Faze Freak, Evolution, No Trix, and Clubscene. That should be plenty to start you off. The best places to buy vinyl online in the US are http://www.subsonicstore.com , http://www.phusionrecords.com , and http://www.majesticstore.com , but you should also look at http://www.nuenergy.co.uk , http://www.imorecords.com , and http://www.juno.co.uk which are in the UK (meaning higher shipping costs) but have some stuff you won't be able to find elsewhere. -Lixx

im sure most of you know this already, but imorecords.com is a pretty decent site. I buy most of my shit there. Just sucks if you live in the US cuz you gotta wait like 3 weeks till it gets there.....anyone know of any decent us based sites that has streaming audio so you can listen to tracks before you buy 'em? Can't wait untill vital vinyl gets its website up (that only matters if your in the midwest area)
skimpin again, eh?

Freeform has not really anthems.. as its all good
anthems require cheese (they do i think... then again i cant see so i cant really jusitfy what im saying here)
freeform is good
vodka is also good
i think i should sleep

I guess a couple Freeform tracks that I would consider anthems are...
Energy - Waves of Desire
Sharkey - Product of Society

hehe
i hadn't even heard Product of Society until a few months ago...
well, i had heard the Radio Edit which is on the Hardlife EP, but Sharkey's Hardcore Sociiety mix is COMPLETELY different. still a nice tune though :)
to me, the anthems are the tracks like Lotek, Take Me Up, In Deep Trouble, Waves of Desire, etc...
