what do you lot make of this e-mail? chain mail or what?

already confirmed the severity, and the antivirus Software's are not
capable of destroying it. The virus has been created by a hacker who calls
himself "life owner".
PLEASE MAKE A COPY OF THIS EMAIL TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS and PASS IT ON
IMMEDIATELY!

Unless you find an official report on this I would treat it as a chain letter someone made up. I recieved many emails saying many things like viruses and free money and many of them looked surprisingly legit. But reality is most of them (99%) are fake.

Thats what i thought, although my mate said they recieved the e-mail but just deleted it...

lol, sorry. these chain things just really bug me. I think the dark lord of mass-paranoia Bush is behind these kind of emails.
I've done a bit of .ppt programming and i can't remember any feature that allows you to manipulate anything on a user's actual machine, so I'm assuming it's a hoax.

It was a virus, but I'd have thought it'd be dead by now, it was quite big about 8months ago.

There is no virus in the world that can make you "lose everything". Well, unless you call stupid user syndrome a virus...
2 decades of IQ culling ought to sort these recurring chain-mail problems out.
