i've recently moved to Manchester with my girlfriend and need to find like minded ravers. need advice on venues and gigs etc. help me!!! I've been told Ratpack are coming this summer. is this true? does anyone know?

I've travelled down south for all me raves so far tho...
except for when people show up at a club in Blackpool (where i live) called DNA. Dougal and Gammer were there the other week... Sy is comin up sometime very soon!!:D (i've forgotten when :S)

What! DNA has live DJ Sets... I fort Zone was about as hardcore as Blackpool got. I live in blackpool btw!

So i usually just travel down to Coventry or Milton Keynes for them

You people should get yourselves over to Bradford for Vibealite, only 45 mins from Manchester and its a wicked event. Next one's this Saturday for all those hardcore enough for it lol.

I think there's a totally lost it on this weekend, not sure where at. but i think it's a top buzz there.can't make it ho my self(an i call myself a raver!) oh well, my mum still luvs me.

wheres that at bone, they play hardcore often?
just asking as we are going there for weekend at end of july for my mates 18th and was planning syndicate (still will most likely go there as mates are 'OMG!! hardcore!! anti-christ!!') but wouldn't mind checking it out

DNA is on the promenade... have a little trek down n u'll find it. It aint that big a club but as i sed u get hardcore DJ's comin down now n then (its only recently opened). Normally i think they play Hard-House n stuff, although i havent been there any other time.
Glen - Sweet! A fellow raver in Blackpool! Thought me n m8s were the only ones. Perhaps we could meet up on a friday night or whatever, get smashed n tan sum tunes! expand the Blackpool hardcore community, make sum links n whatnot. lol
Never heard of Zone btw

ok recently i did a post regardin not enough Hardcore played in Manchester, but thanks to some of u guys for tellin me that there were some places playin it. I have been living in Manchester a year next month!

Sorry if u thought that my post regardin clubs in Manchester started of negative.
It is only my opinion and i was just makin a point that basically i dont like any other music like the types i mentioned, but that i only like hardcore.
If u like the other kinds of music and if i upset u in anyway then am sorry! Hope theres no hard feelins m8!

There isn't really much hardcore on in manchester apart from 'totally lost it' which has only just started up this yr and not on frequently. :o(
Then the odd things pop up like at Manchester Madness @ Phillips Park hall in May.
Personally I like Sankey Soap ( www.tribalgathering.co.uk ). They played a wicked new years party in the carpark under deangate locks. Tribal House music and a friendly atmosphere.
Pheonix is top if u like trance and drum and bass they have frequent nites on. Lots of GuRnErs ;o)
Deansgate Locks is crap, full of ppl who propably spent all day gettin ready.
Printworks is gud as a starting off place, but u av to wear shoes at the weekend :o(
