Witch is exactly why their "euro" tracks arent that good. They have no idea what the genre is all about. They think slowing down Hardcore makes it good eurotrance, witch is not true at all.

Their commercial releases are Eurotrance, or you could call it "new" Eurodance. If they want to call it Scouse House in UK then they call it that, but thats not the real genre name :p

So are the Clubland CD's what people from outside the UK would call eurotrance?

Ok lets get this straight I'm not sayin that the remixes hold no value whatso-ever they are actually very well produced i would much rather hear remixes of hardcore tunes in the charts than Justin fookin Timberlake or Beyonce anyday, but what really gets my goat is when you hear little chavs n chavettes in the high street sayin things like flip n fill are genious to right such quality lyrics. these people need to let their public know where these tunes come from (perhaps by puttin the original release on the single as a b-side). Havin been a dj for the last 9 or so years i just get so fed up with tellin people i know things along the line of "oh yeah that john b remix of music takes you is ok" and then have them turn round and say things like "you don't know anythin do you John B wrote it it aint an original" when if they had a clue about their musical history they would know that they are just plain wrong.
Sorry went on a rant there
Hardcore will never die!!!!

Yes, though they have some crap on them too. But e.g. i have Clubland 4, and in that CD Neo Cortex "Elements" and Voodoo & Serano "Give Me The Power" are examples of what good eurotrance is.

On a finnish forum there is a ranting topic for "bar DJ's", some funny stories there about stupid track requests, drunk people that know everything about music etc :) Id post the link, but i doubt you can read finnish ;)

Hee Hee you'd be right there unfortunately (stupid english and our one language ways)
The ranting does happen now and again i try to keep it under control but when you are passionate about something the way i am about music it does slip from time to time.

I love my classics as much as the next raver but i dont lose any sleep about people makin covers of them, a lot more improtant things to worry about plus why not find new tunes you like instead of gettin pissed off at ones you dont.
It's not a lotta fun bein skint so if someone sees a way to make a bit of cash covering a tune many people will enjoy then fair play to them imo. Dont see why people hate them jus cos they dont like there tunes is quite petty to me wouldnt let it bother you's too much.
Theres enough talented producers to please almost everyone jus now definitely an excitin time for me and a lotta people, the more new stuff i'm hearin the more i like not been this much variety in hardcore in a long time.
Venga familia!!!
