Ive noticed that Ultrabeat don't tend to get dissed as much as they used to before people knew who Re-Con was, i wonder if the mood would change toward Fill or Flip if they started producing hardcore...

Don't get me wrong, Flip & Fill are good at what they do production wise, but i think that sometimes they just need to know when to leave a track alone if they are contemplating a remix/rehash.
I feel that F&F lack that skill, in turn resulting in 'Shooting Star' and 'Field of Dreams'.
Ultrabeat on the other hand are slightly different in that respect - because Re-Con is hardcore through and through, you can see those elements built into the other material he is making for AATW. this is also easily apparent when you can time stretch, or compress one of his rezonance q tracks and it perfectly plays in a hardcore set.
As F&F are apparently not interested in hardcore the way that Re-Con/Ultrabeat are, it will in turn show in their production.
I just want to reiterate though, this is not a slating of Flip & Fill at all as i respect them as producers - this is just something i have noticed.

fly basd**ds,but i suppose its ok if u get away with it...

You do realise that they couldn't release tunes like their cover of shooting star without the original artist permission, no matter how sh*t you or me for that matter think that track was, it sold a lot of records and proves that it is a matter of opinion. If you think 'its shit because its not hardcore', trust me you will grow out of it, too many people think like this and to say that they can't appreciate other music styles is just childish... (not reffering to you there, just making an observation)

well thats all well & good i do like other types of music other than my favourite style hardcore, they are hardhouse, hardtrance, some hip hop, even some cheesey chart stuff catches my intrest but NOT flip & fill, i dident like 1 single tune or remix they have ever done, i liked the cheeky trax mix of discoland thats it but then that was originaly tiny tots track...which flip & fill also destroyed...shooting star destroyed, field of dreams destroyed.. thats just to name a few...there are people out there who like them but as i said before there aged between 7&17 most of them girls i would imagine... as for ultrbeat i liked there remixes...better than life not the best tune thou and i liked ultrabeat not just cause mike di scala/recon does hardcore aswell... recon stuff top fcukin quality shit...

i suppose comparing ultrabeat to flip and fill was a bit harsh (stupid!). i do still think ultrabeat have spoiled a few good songs thou. some top quality stuff which probably more than makes up for it!
