Imagine this:
Some big record exec from say, Sony or whoever has decided to release one hardcore track commercially and put the choice down to us. Which one would you choose? What track do you feel should be the ambassador for hardcore in today's day and age? Forget about licensing and everything like that - pretend that it's completely open season. You can pick ANY track you want.

Please don't go ahead and name a tune just because it's your favourite. I'd like to you think about this and tell me why your selection should be released mainstream. Even if you strongly believe that hardcore shouldn't go mainstream and you don't want to know, please still give this a go as it's just for fun. Right, I'll kick off then shall I?

CLSM: Roof on fire as it's diverse and original and should appeal to a wider audience. DnB flavoured breakbeat hardcore at its finest.

Over to you...........

Re-con -- Bang 9

This track is trancy, high energy, has a great sample. Its everything modern hardcore is good for. Remember, the masses (that listen to electronica) are done with oldschool. DnB is getting past its prime. Bang 9 is the future :D

Nakatomi - Children of the night

Great party tune and to hear that on the top 40 charts would be magic.
nice vocals and a riff that everyone knows.

i think they should release Insight's track 'Only Your Love' because its got a full set of lyrics that punters can sing along to and a VERY catchy chorus, not to mention being bouncy as ****! its just generally a classy tune that i reckon could do well ;)

1. Plus System - Do It Like We Do
2. Overflow & Deejaybee - Sunrise feat. Vision (Dougal & Gammer Rmx)
3. Sy & Unknown - Bring Me Round To Love (Scott Brown Rmx)

In that order. (I know it's not 1 but I can't help it sometimes it's a bit of a problem I have sorry)

Reason for this is they get the best response from people I have played hardcore to that don't listen to hardcore.

It depends...for overall success that could be made i'd say summin like You're My Angel.

However, if it was to give the masses a lasting impression and a song to be really proud of as a scene it wud be the VIP mix of Drifting Away by CLSM.

"Let's All Get Down!!"
