how does he achieve all these releases that are completely not his songs. i own 3 bootlegs myself and like them alot but isnt that illegal? so how is he able to put it on vinly be sell them at major record retailers?

He's been around a long time.
If you look in a hymn book in school or church you'll find he wrote some of them, as well as that traditional English folksong 'Greensleaves'.
