Me and like 6 mates were all supposed to be going to the hardcore weekender, but due to whatever, everybody has dropped out, wel guttin!!! im sure this has / will happen to other groups of friends, and if it does...i feel for ya!

Ah thats right bad, same ting happened to me a couple of years back. All me mates were meant to be going to Ibiza, booked it and everything but then slowly dropped out til me and one other person were the only ones left. Not good at all :(
Would Tommy Kirkwood, and Lynne come to the surge tent out front immediately, this is proper urgent.

yeah same thing happend to me just yesterday....i had a big fall out with me mates....me meant to be going to a rave start of may have tickets n all now we are not speaking well gutted....im still gona try and go though **** them they arnt gna spoil it for me.........

Shit like that always happends. But if everyone drops out, that should'nt stop you from going to places you want to go to. You can always meet new people but I understand it's alot better when you're out with your friends.

From past experiences....I've actually found going to raves alone quite fun!!
Same thing happened to me once too often, decided action was to be taken!! If no-one will go...I'll go myself!!
It's quite daunting to begin with...I always feel weird goin in alone and lookin like a loner...but whenyou settle into the crowd, the real fun begins! Met a lot of great friends that way...plus your on your own, you do as you please without worryin what the others will do.
Stupidly though, Tried it at a commercial/ student nite in sheffield...didn't quite work. Not the same atmosphere as raves/ underground clubs.
Anyway, as long sas you keep your head screwed on...goin alone can be great!!

Yeah, my mates fannied about too long and after a while a couple of our student loans had run out so no Hardcore Weekender for me!

Thing is ya need at least 4 people to go to this event so you can't really go on your own unless you want to book a room with 3 total strangers and to be honest thats probably not a good idea no matter how many decent peeps go to hardcore raves.
I'm in the same situation but i'll soon stomp away my blues at Uproar :)
