The Panacea remix of Luna-C & Dair's 'Ready 2 rumble' ticks all the right boxes for me.

Arguably one of the best

Cheers guys, there's more than I thought. I just kinda missed the sounds and the vibe that got me into this in the first place. I guess that's evolution for you.
I just hope that the producers of the future don't forget where we came from.

You know that! I still love it today and I love coming here as often as I can!!! happyhardcore.com is a wicked site that attracts visitors from all over the globe and it has opened our eyes and ears to the scene on an international scale. The boy Silver's done good with this and long may it continue.
I may be a man on a mission trying to recapture his youth, and that's probably what my main problem is!!! Everything changes or evolves and I guess I'm stuck in the "good old days" as the term goes. Whenever I hear a classic from the past I know where I was, who I was with, what I was doing and so on. Hardcore has been the backbone for so many "moments" and memories for me.... it's been a bigger part of my life than I would care to admit.
These days, even when I hear current stormers from a couple of years back which made me tingle, can I remember where I was and what I was doing? can I f**k!!! No, I haven't pulverised my brain either. It's just not the same!
I don't want anyone thinking that I'm criticising the current state of hardcore, it just seems to me that it's not quite as unique as it used to be. It just doesn't seem to be so "happy" since happy hardcore became more trancey.
I guess that hardcore couldn't keep going on it's own steam, hence the almost "death" a few years back so it's basically "borrowed" elements from other styles and in my eyes it's sort of lost its own identity on the way.
I like HAPPY!! what's this site called? happyhardcore.com or tranceyhardcore.com? It seems that some are calling hardcore "sped up trance" and that also winds me up! RARRR!!!
I certainly like some of the Breeze and Styles stuff for example (Ultimate high remix is one of my fav's) but I couldn't listen to it constantly. I like variety and back in the day, even though it was all happy, happy, happy it was varied enough for me i.e. not everyone using the same f**kin' synth time after time after time.
If everybody followed Breeze and styles then the scene would probably end up going commerical and being AATW's bitch.
We need more Seductions' (welcome back fella), more Scott Browns', more CLSMs' and more Gammers' to keep everything nice and fresh and HARDCORE! Also, I think there is a real future for the breakbeat stuff - just checked out some newer releases and although the quality is up-to-date they do sound distinctly retro!
If Ionosphere is reading this - well done fella/guys you know your hardcore! keep it up!
farchid: Put ya hands up REALLY hit the spot for me, can't believe I forgot about it so soon! will have to play that when I get in!
hrdkore_brown: Let it go is simply amazing - the audio equivalent of sex. Shame the piano is too short for my liking.
Right, I know this post is VERY long winded, and I've edited it a few times but thanks for reading it, even though it's gone slightly off my original topic.
Just like what Silver said on another topic not so long ago...what ever happens - I'll still be here.
