I think it is cheeper overall yes. Some people may argue that it cost money for the cdr's and stuff and that all adds up, but my arguement to that is that you can fit tons of tracks on one cd.
If your wanting a cheeper way downlaod are the way to go.

well dj's normally burn 5-8 tracks on each CDR and just use a large CD wallet, so there not wasteing too much on Cd's (dont need to buy case packs).
Tracks seem to be 3credits on average on IMO which is alright if there new tracks but if there old its a bit pricey.
As webstores normally drop the price, so the cost of 1 track could be more then 2-3 tracks on 1 vinyl. (ex you could buy both trip2nite vinyls on vinylunited.com for the price of 1download)

its cheaper overall, 3 credits is like roughley £1.42. So 1 credit is £50ish.
Buying large amounts of cdr is cheap like cheap. Also you can carry 200 cd's easly, vinyls are massive & with vinyl u can't carry as meany, plus u have 2 buy a hard box 2 carry them.
vinyl costing £4-6 + £1-3 on delivery & handling, carrying case £10-40

wth?
IMOdownload has 3 cred = 1.50£ but you get discounts when you buy 15+ creds
and a cd-r doesn't cost more than 60 cents per piece today (not in sweden if imported that is), and you can get 10-14 tunes on a CD depending on length
