i think bonkers 14 will be better.

clubland xtreme more popular/successful though.

i like the harder style of hardcore like scott brown and sharkey. the trancey stuff aint my favourite (its still good though) bonkers 14 will have more of a variation.

Can't really compare, as no-one knows what the new bonkers is like yet! The Clubland albums do fairly well, and Xtreme hardcore should attract a lot of new faces to the scene with some luck. It would be nice if Resist put a Bonkers leaflet in the clubland case as it will undoubtedly stir interest in the bonkers series....or maybe that's their cunning plan after all? hmm....

i was thinking about this a few days ago why they were bringing them out so close to each other especially from the same label, i think it is to boost sales of both, bit of competition between them.

i reckon they are thinking along the lines of that loadsa people will buy clubland just because of the name attracting alot more people to the scene then KAPOW!!

they release bonkers 14 and alot more people will buy it due to there new found interest in hardcore from clubland xtreme

thats how it works on paper anyways, we'll see, i can't see clubland being out affecting the sales of bonkers 14 in a negative way anyway as hardcore fans will buy both or if only one, 99% will get bonkers 14 whereas the new people will buy both

BOO!

I agree, if anything i think Clubland Extreme Hardcore will help the sales of Bonkers 14 (as long as it is released slightly before)

And after all, Hixxy wouldn't agree to anything that might sink Bonkers!

How cool would it be if Clubland Xtreme hardcore and Bonkers 14 were at the top of the album charts? Don't care which way round!

I think we should all do our bit and buy both next month.

It wouldn't suprise me at all if the clubland album was, there will be all of us who will buy it, plus all the clubland regulars wanting to complete their collection, and then on top of that who knows how many people will be attracted by the advertisement clubland will put out!

Hopefully people will like the sounds and then purchase the Bonkers album and realise how diverse a genre hardcore really is!

i think its brilliant for hardcore, it promotes the music and introduces the music to new people but at the same time there arent loads of hardcore albums swamping the charts which will still keep it underground at the same time. i think its a gr8 idea

The only problem with Clubland is that it's a scouse house album normally, and if we start attracting more people like the knobs from birkenhead who were kickin off at HTID it wont be good at all. I'm not sayin all birkenhead are like this but they've got a reputation.

maybe i phrased my initial sentence wrong...i dont mean to say which one will be better, its just that i PREDICT that bonkers 14 will be better due to the varitation in styles (3 styles in B14 compared to 1 in clubland). i think newbies to the scene (converted by clubland) will enjoy clubland but we who have a wider knowledge of all the different styles will appreciate B14 more (well i will neway)

So i predict which one i will personally enjoy more.

clubland will prob be the more successful due to the market share clubland/aatw have when it comes to dance cds.

Where I live, hardcore is non-existent and Clubland is the only CD people buy here in Blackburn, so to have a Hardcore Clubland is mint. Bonkers 14 WILL be better.
