When a hardcore cd is releasd, do all the individual artisits get paid, or is it just the dj who mixes them together? And do they all get paid te same, or does it dpened on how sucsesful the tune is? Just curious rly cos iv neva found out. Cherrs ppl
Drugs may be the road to nowhere, but at least they're the scenic route. . .

Yes if the CD is licensed the copyright holder or licensor will get the money (the label or the artist directly)

Normally the DJ gets a once off mix fee to do the album... Sometimes a royality if they are lucky.

Everyone gets paid the same... A standard rate is 16%-18% of the wholesale price which is divided by the number of tracks on the CD... eg.
tracks sells wholesale for 10 bucks
there are 20 tracks on the CD
16%-18% of the 10 bucks gets divided by 20 and goes to all the people that licensed the tracks to the CD.
it's all hardcore.
