i like most styles of hardcore, bouncy, happy, trancey, gabber (only while ravin). NXTGEN style, NUENERGY style (i dnt really know what to call those styles) i like it all. let breeze styles and hixxy release mainstream hardcore - its still hardcore. i can only see the trancey style becoming mainstream ne way.

i like the new trancy hardcore which is quite commerical mostly because that the old stuff you hear over and over and over and over again and it gets borring.

Its just evolution of the hole hardcore thing.

Ive been producing hardcore for like 4 or 5 years or somthing and luving it, i havnt been to many raves but i have to agree that ppl anit thinking about how they look and will they fit in, they just wanna have a great time and do their own thing.

Sheeps on the other hand i dont think will come into hardcore for a while because its just to fast 160-190 pretty fast compard to brittney spears, plus the pop culture is all about looking good and fitting in, how the hek will that turn backwards?

the fourth no sweety why don't u save the comment dassfisken is right. its all carbon cop[ies...is noone listening to me?? lmao dam* its like i haven't really said anything. a well balance of happy hardcore and hardcore is what we need. 160?? thats SLOW****** lol just like breeze and styles..lol..

sorry thats how i feel...and well i mean breeze and styles well i mean two song i must say are superb is your shining and don't want you but don't want you is way better than anything else they have made in ****my opnion****i do like how b and s actually post pictures of themselves and do commercial type things but making videos whicgh are not hardcore and stuff is just lame! Making something commercial and cashing in is alright and fine but don't sellout in the way you would make your music slower and completely go poppy and not hardcore to sell your shit. As, far as people liking upfront hardcore and hardcore thats fiine but it seems like most people have just lost the hardcore way which happy hardcore which is the original*. for the last time........
LETS KEEP IT 170-185 yes thats HARDCORE!!!!!under 170 YOUR NOTHING* lol

I thought you done ranting about this. I understand where you are coming from and its cool. Were still happy so everything's ok. You can still listen to the oldschool stuff.

Life is too short... lets go Hardcore!

hardcore is not about speed, it's about rawness and energy.

a good chunk of the older hardcore breakbeat stuff had more energy in it than some of todays trancier tunes, and they are 20 if not more bpm's slower.

I remember when hardcore was slower than that, does that mean that the old oldschool isn't hardcore anymore? My opinion is, don't listen to what you don't like. Don't like new skool? don't listen to it. Want to keep a closed mind about things? Go ahead, it's your mind, do what you want with it. But be sure you know what you are talking about if you are willing to put up an argument on a public forum.

give me pain till i die

*EDIT*

That may seem a bit harsh, but this topic is so old. It has sprouted up over and over again. Newbies pissed off over Newbies "stealing" their hardcore. Big deal, get over it. It's their hardcore too.

Respect eachother, thats the idea of hardcore. Unity, remember when that was a big thing in the land of rave? Nope, too busy worried about the next guy maybe, god forbid, enjoying hardcore. At least someone enjoys it right?

wow you three have completely underminded me on what i just said.....i knew i was gonna have to come back and say something...im not talking HAPPY HARDCORE dude alot of happy hardcore tracks we exceeding 170 and if ur talking about hardcore being slow. well, talking about "oldstyle gabber" thats all i know that was slow and such used to be dark and slow which was still hardcore..and its not about "nrg" factor its how the rawness ur right. i dunno seems like the nrg factor in such your talkin about hard house? lol. yeah its my mind and my body and ill pick and choose my music...its one thing to to prove something and but just don't bypass what the other person has to say thats all...im not bickering im just "ranting" lol or just simply stating the obvious....and as far as newbies go? well i mean why even point that out. and i agree with everyone and i mean everyone time change technology changes. and as far as bickering on mainstream and such well i mean mainstream and such is in the eye of the beholder really. I like this thread i mean i have seen topics like this and i mean whats wrong with confronting something and or ranting or stating something? is that bad? just being able to look at everyones reponses are awesome....noone has really said anything out of line and bashed anyone really...i dunno and least noone is making a thread about happy hardcore vs hardcore...or whos more hardcore? could be worse*

^^^ Don't get me wrong, I do understand what you are saying. And I respect you for speaking your mind. But you do have to understand, hardcore used to be very very very differen't than it is known as today. It was like all sorts of types of music mashed together.

Love hardcore, and embrace hardcore.

Respect,

Bobby Ritalin

news flash to anyone who didnt know this.

all music is copied. there are only a certain amount of chords you can create.

it seems most of the people complaing about hardcore becoming mainstream in ANY WAY are the same people who are trying to sport hardcore as some type of musical badge. get over yourselves, you are acting just like the people you are complaining about

have a nice day!

Hardcore is about more than the rawness and the energy...... its about being open minded and not being afraid to try new things
