There is NO difference between quality in FL Studio and Cubase. FL simply exports at -6db of the original volume whereas cubase doesn't. When you start using FL effects plugins and step sequencer instead of a drum machine like battery is when your track begins to lose quality - so, use more pro vst effects like the Waves Diamond bundle and your track will have the same quality as in cubase sx. Guyver produces in FL studio and his tracks are awesome quality and well mastered, so take your head out of your ass and understand that it's you, and not your setup.

Cubase also exports at -6db, there is an option to change it though

i am sorry im i reading the same post
tiz not about the quality it is about the idea for a tune
there are no fx other than some reverb and some on bord the synth its self
and at no point have i blamed my equipmes for my short cummings as a producer however i love the access virus also novation supernova and moving knobs and sliders make automation a doddle compaired to a doggy mouse. nice toys help
put the tune. hook line whatever you want to call The bit people are left humming it is what it is about

i am just a guy that likes trying making hardcore and am intrested in peoples views towards the music /tune not what i made it in or what o/s i run
all the tunes are mearly ideas no sort of carefull adjustment of anything has been done
thanks

Any case, when using VST's floops really isnt doing much of the work. Its mainly when you use the built in synths like teh 3OSC and the ts404.

I haven't used it in a while. I'm sticking to Reason, and waiting for my copy of reason 3.

dude go play with a virus ti and if u or any one can reproduce the warmth and depth that it has from a vst i will actualy publicly eat my hat and if you so desire your hat too really!!

maybe the virus A.But there is still a little somthing u just cant get
just the diffrence in doing a mixdown on analogue mixer instead of fl mixer
real equipment just makes the job easier and with a more pro sound cleaner almost
... but vst are constantly improving..

From the sound quality, I'm gussing you did these on Fruity Loops?

I've heard excellent sound quality tunes that where produced in fruity. Excellent software if used properly.

5 and 12 vst normal
make kick on synth
then sample it

also as a side note when you have finnished a tune in fl i find if you export the kick and off stab seprate from the rest you get a much cleaner uniform sound
use somthing other than fl to put it back togeather

aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!??!
ToOOOO many awake hours
no drugs
just the same 3 min of tune playing over fo like 10 hours now lol
