Hi friends!

http://cordharel.bachi.net/sound/CorDharel-free.mp3

I was working the whole weekend to create a so called "straight line" track. I tried and tried (and tried even more) until finally I got a really cool track with this line through the whole song. When I had this track, I added a hardstyle intro that will blow you away in the first minute, so that you can relax when u hear the chilling part. And no, I won't bother you with any singing of myself I just said the sentences, and it sounds a lot better than when I sing The song is a lil bit long, but it is getting better the longer you listen 2 it.

The style? I would say its "sad happy hardcore" cause the guy speaking is thinking about life and what really cares, and why he doesnt reach his dream of freedom, like lots of people do (I guess). But the song is also good to think about your 0wn life.

Feedback is welcome

Greetings CorDharel

D*mn why the hell don't you want to hear my tracks? Is it because I am from Switzerland? I know we got much weird thingies in here, like neutralness and stuff like that, money, cheese and no f*cking happy hardcore parties. But thats why I want to change that! I want to spread hhc til the last person on earth knows how excellent this is. But how can I think about doing it if you won't give me some opinons about my shit I produce. I don't expect anything more from you than to download this mp3 and listen to the track. If you stop after 10 seconds you can say "CorDharel f*uck you get lost you stupid retard you just create bullsh*t" and I will be happy.

So plz make me happy

Been busy but have listened to it twice and understand where it's coming from (I don't mean Switzerland, the land of Mr & Mrs Normal where it must be deadly dull if your 'different') and still ain't formed a valid opinion.
Until then I'm not happy to pass a comment. However....where's the re-mix of 'Love & Happy Hardcore'?
We're still waiting.

"Free"

6/10
Now that is a VERY different track, haven't ever heard anything like this, it's cool!

The start is very wild, and like you said, has a very hardstlye feeling to it, but introductions bore me if they last for too long, which is why it was a relief when the melody kicked in at 1:30. And what a melody it is! Well done with that. But again, drags on. The vocals at 02:20 are quite powerful, but the pads in the background just don't give it that "sad" feeling. Really love that fill at 5:10, and then the breakbeat that follows on. Now, the pads that play there, fit in MUCH more with the vocals. The ending breaks down bit by bit into a sweet crash with just the pad, very nice.

Overall a good track, but in my opinion, it's too long. When songs are too long, people tend to make it differ so that it doesn't bore the listener, but sometimes it can cause the song to sound too complex, and the listener can't get a decent grasp on the track. That's how I felt anyway.

I am much appreciated, slik_stylez. This is more than I have expected. Thank you very much!

Some opinons from my side:
- I just thought that the intro sounds so cool, it won't bother anyone when it is a lil bit longer ;) and I had to do a crossover to the melody part

- hmm i don't know how "sad" drums sound. I like the way I say "I am sitting here, crying about my life" and a drum&bass beat comes into play.

- I like that fill, too, it was an experiment, and I think Ill do more such stuff :)

- I think you are right. The song is too long. I made the song until I thought its perfect, then I converted it, saw that it was 7:48 and thought "OMFG" :D But I couldn't make it shorter. Its cool to hear the track when you do something by the way, like playing games or whatever.

I hope you understand now why I called it "sad happy hardcore".

@Ionosphere
I already started the "Love and Happy hardcore" - Remix. Perhaps Ill be able to finish it tommorrow.

I like the intro and melody, but in general I agree with silk_stylez. The track is far to long I find though, I tend to lose interest in tracks with a length greater than 5 minutes unless something really outstanding has been done with it to keep you listening, which doesn't happen very often.

Overall it shows you have put effort in to it. And the outcome I would say was worth it. Good luck!
