why?

all they are is unlicensed remixes.

well that's all mine is. a remix that i don't have permission for. can't see why u'd hate that if you liked the tune!

if u hate bootlegs... then u must hate half the hardcore tunes that get released?!

sooo many hardcore tunes use unlicensed vocals, samples, riffs etc it's unbelievable!

^^^ Thats a mash-up

A bootleg in its true sense is usually a dodge copy of a vinyl

mash up = 2 diferent tunes chopped about and mixed togther to make 1 tune.

bootleg: a track that uses samples from a track or is a remix or a track but doesn't have permission from the copyright holders.

2. To produce, distribute, or sell without permission or illegally: a clandestine outfit that bootlegs compact discs and tapes.

So yes you are right NathanD.

Rip is a slang term and is usually used to describe the act of theft. Such as bypassing copy protection on CDs and copying them onto your computer, or the act of stealing someones work.

the simple reason for every1s passion for bootlegs.....

http://djrankin.co.uk/index.php (the godfather of shitness)
http://www.gillies-uvf.co.uk/ (uvf dj??)
http://kick-the-flow.tk/
http://brolly-cmilk.tk/
www.deejay-fatcat.co.uk (a met him on underground once)
www.extreme-bass.co.uk
www.madwaeit.com
http://drumbathiedj.tk/
http://www.dj-nogitaclue.tk (hahaha) {really...hahaha}

well certainly in scotland....bootlegs associate hardcore...and especially makina with neds (chavs for you southerners)...makes ppl think everyone with a set of decks wears a lacoste tracsuit to their bed and shouts 'hawww pal' at old women

well u got tracks like 'worlds apart' on fbi and that new frisky and hujib or wotever tune called u better run...

i'm sure they dont hav permission. the 'u better run' tune uses the vocals from 'yana kay - runaway'. i know this as i have a remix on the official yana kay cd release in russia.

not sayin they dont have permission but it is not unkown for hardcore srtista and labels to do things without permisison.

Technically a bootleg is a 100% copy of a track... no changes... Car boot sales are selling bootlegs, Dodgy CD-R Ebay'er are selling bootlegs... very bad :(

Technically all the "hardcore mixes" or tracks that use unlicensed vocal samples are just unlicensed remixes. Then you get into the term rip, which means the same as thing as unlicensed remixes.

Technically the label "Ballistic Bootlegs" do not contain bootlegs at all... but still a great label :)

it's all hardcore.
