Is there a way for members on the site to see who is a member in their area without going through all the member profiles??? That would be a sweet way to get parties together!

So you want a new "search" function to the members area? A group PM messaging attached to that would be good too. So you can get in touch with all the people from your area with little trouble.

Just a thought, but from what I've read above this means that people are going to be able to group PM (for instance) everyone in NW UK. Surely this leaves the door open for potential spammers. I personally am not a huge fan of Spam, unless it comes in a tin and is served with lashings of tomato ketchup  .
Surely a better idea would be for a forum for all the different areas...... perhaps only the area you are part of being visible to yourself. That way our PM boxes do not get clogged up with flyers for every single event going down , and you can have discussions with like-minded ravers from your area.
If I have misunderstood what the plans are then apologies for my malfunctioning brain, but it is in dire need of a tune-up
