Agree with jenks to me hardcore always was a scene that everyone was welcome to have a party. And the way some people make out that neds goin to hardcore events is new makes me laugh, the happy hardcore scenes been full of them for years as long as i've been ravin anyway and i've never had one night spoiled. People need to jus learn to go out with there mates and not be so paranoid of people that dress different or are from different areas to them just have a good time.

Venga familia!!!

i wasn't calling the poeple on the ads chavs, i know loadsa people that dress like that that are fine and good mates, chavs isn't a clothing style it is the people that act like twats that are chavs, it is just the majority of them dress like that so that becomes the stereotype

lol very very good point :D

but at the end of the day... I've explained the facts... ^^^^^ and thats why we all here see them ppl as chavs as they look justlike them lol :)

it don't matter if they are chavs or not... the fact is they look like chavs... thats most ppls warning sign to stay away from them as there most likly dick heads...
If they ent... then its hard luck if ppl will judge them...
but i'm willin the bet that they are chavs, simply by the way they act and just are :) (i ent evan seen the ad yet:P)

and with the whole goth thing... if i wanted to be a goth i wouldn't simply go out there and where the clothes... as the fact is GOTHS ARE RARE!

a goth is a like a cult or a religion... i used to know one... they cut there arms once a day as they beleave that when there blood touchs the earths grown... there soul is owned by the devil... they worship pain and there "god" is the "devil!"
now how many ppl do you know who are like that???

fact is the word goth is trown about too much today...
theres evan teenage rockers out there calling themselfs goths... its really really funny... cuse the fact is being a goth is nothing to do with music... only the cult... hell, a goth culd evan listen to hardcore and love it (before i moved off the subject)!!!

so if you see a "wannabie goth" out there... ask them if they have cut there arms yet:)... you can really laff ya ass off about it really when ya think about it... there poor minds been ****ed up by some twatie chavs not knowing the diffrence between a rocker and a goth... LET ALONE A SKATER!!!!
gawd... ent the word a sad place :P:P:P:P

so yeah... have i proved my point yet :P:P:P:P lol

Fair play six feet i'm not gettin at you at all nobody likes dicks, jus dont think it'd be a good thing for raves to start not lettin people in cos of how they dress and stuff like that cos was never what it was all about. In different parts of the country people dress differently, i've quite recently moved from glasgow to a place called hemel hempstead and someone who dresses normally in glasgow will be seen as dressin like a ned down here. At the big events you get groups from all over essex, the midlands, north east, liverpool , birkenhead etc so your bound to get a wide variety of people and thats one thing i like about ravin. They'll always be a few troublemakers at events but you shouldnt let it spoil your night out, everyones welcome at raves.

Venga familia!!!

yeah i know baldo it has to be annoying to the genuinly nice people that might dress like a chav (very few round this area) that get rejected on the basis of what they dress like, can't comment on raves though, have never been to one, i definately want to get to one though

straight up baldo, a persons a person no matter what they wear and ne1s welcome to raves which is why its cool. if u go to punk gigs u get looked at funny for not wearing a t shirt with a punk band on it and 3 quater lengths, but at raves it doesnt matter. now im not a chav i dont wear the clothes and i certainly dont have the attitude but i still feel like an outsider there where as i, along with anyone else who wants to go along, can feel fully accepted at hardcore and most other dance events, its half of what its all about

Theres nothing wrong with the boat those big holes help keep our feet cool.

Thats it six feet jus get yourself along sometime and you'll see it's a good atmosphere . Stony no's the score met him out before and had a wkd time jus get yourself along with your good mates or meet up with folk off here or whatever. The only times i here about people having a bad time is sadly normally when there on their own, which jus shows most troublemakers are proper bullies looking for an easy target. Go with your mates with the attitude to having a good night i guarantee you'll love it.

Venga familia!!!

Here are some great pointers....

1. Shut up and encourage people to listen to hardcore for what it is.
2. Shut up and buy the CD.
3. Shut up and see the djs
4. Shut up have a good time and not worry about any one else.

Pretty much, dont worry about other people, chavs or otherwise. I think this is a wasted thread.

But the commerical was cool and left me hanging. I want that CD.

^^^ Damn right i want that CD!

I have had this argument about charvs so many times before so I'm not gona really get into it coz i'll probably never stop. What you wear and what you listen to doesn't define who you are. Charvs (i mean proper ones, coz the term does get thrown about too much) are defined by their attitude (eg. stabbing people for no reason whatsoever). I think 'proper' charvs should be shot in the face or should be locked up. So, yeh, a rave should be a place where any1 can go and have a good time EXCEPT from charvs. I mean up here, I've seen 15 year olds kids gettin glassed with beer bottles by 18 year old charvs for wearing a quicksilver t shirt. These are the people that should be banned. So what if they wear a burberry hat, if their attitude is fine then theres no problem.

To summarize, I HATE CHARVS WITH A ****ING PASSION.

'I got 99 problems but the 1st division ain't one!!!'

Well I know 2 of the guys who are the main ones on this advert, and it's great!
I can see why people think they look chavvy, but they aren't at all, that's just their look, they're always up for a laugh and are part of the most fun people I know in clubland! They are certainly the kind of people that give clubbing a good name, regardless of what they look like!

You have to remember that the TV ad is not mainly directed at hardcore fans (they will buy the CD no matter what)... it's for the non hardcore people or peeps that have left hardcore or the closet hardcore lovers :)

Just posted the hardcore nation TV ad if your interested :)

it's all hardcore.
