Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to post this msg cuz I'm new to hardcore, and I dont really know very many good hardcore songs or very many artists other than ones mentioned on this site. Also for some reason i'm having a hard time finding these artists mentioned anywhere else. I think part of the problem could be that this genre isn't that big in USA... at least its not mainstream here :(
But anyway... just giving a shoutout to everyone. I've always listened to Trance, and I love hardcore, especially what those Canadians play on TSR. So plz post any good songs I should listen to.
Oh yeah... also I am looking for a short segment that I can make my alarm clock play. It lets me record up to 15 secs and it loops it when the alarm goes off. So if anyone would like to help me out, you can post what you think would be a good Hardcore alarm sound for me to use.

Welcome to the site, and welcome to Hardcore. Possibly the best start to listening is to tune into Happy Hardcore Radio. Its 24hr so you cant go wrong there, extrememly diverse in the styles, and also when you think youve heard it all, youll hear something new.
Enjoy

hey man :) welcome to HardCore :)
i agree it all depends on what hardcore your into, and bonkers is a really good place to start.
i would advice you to listen to some early original hardcore tunes like "bonkers 1" and all the other classic hardcore tunes...
also if you go out there look for the 2 disk album called "Original Hardcore" - thats the name of the album!
its got all the classics like:
Field Of Deams, Pretty Green Eyes, Heart Of Gold, Sensation, Wonderful Days, Now Is The Time, Forever Young, Sound of The Future, evan the Braveheart tune :)
I would highly recommend listening to the Originals and then moving up from there as most the moden day tunes you'll find on moden day bonkers are "mosty"remixs of the originals - therefore you'd go back and listen to the originals and wouldn't really like them as much...
where as if you progress from where it all began, you'll see hardcore for what it is and love it a hell of a lot more!
After listening to the originals you can progress and then make up own mind about witch remixs you like and witch you don't - otherwise you'd find yourself going back and not liking how hardcore began :) (underground)
but anyways - welcome to hardcore - and Enjoy :)
