Have you noticed that when they do their hardcore stuff, they're Breeze & Styles, and when they do they commercial pop stuff they're Styles & Breeze?

Nope. Some older raverbaby stuff were Styles & Breeze. I believe Futureset is. At least on Trance Ravers.

The mix that's been played as hardcore is the normal, slower trancy speed on the promo.

Arguably one of the best

why do we always blame AATW for this. it's breeze and styles who agree to do it - in this case make a crap radio edit. I blame breeze and styles. I hate styles face anyway he looks like a muppet and they are both trators to the scene trying to weaken hardcore (giving it a bad name) but not in the way mixmag said liam howlette killed rave!

I never noticed the difference between the Hardcore release and the Commercial release, Razor eyes!!!
Has anyone heard or purchased the commercial release of their track "Your Shining" it has about 6 mixes but not the original Hardcore version, I was dissapointed with the release of it only for that reason, and the dance mix was a bit cak, but that's only because i'm not into the hardcore/commercial crossover type tracks, it used to be the other way round, and to see that they are releasing the "Heartbeatz" track as a commercial version is not exactly making me hold my breath in anticipation, I just think it's a bit wrong that the Hardcore version's of any track are not incorperated on the commercial release, if it was then it would open the scene up to person's who would'nt normally hear or know of the music....
but on the other hand you could also say that the commercial market are not comfortable with a track running at over 144 bpm, Or is it due to red tape on who has the rights to any particular version,
I'm in no way disrespecting Breeze or styles or anyone, good luck to them, if you can do it then do it.......

I have both the "You're Shining" & "Heartbeatz" remix vinyl packs.

They're very "pop" there's some good remixes, but some are purely what you'd expect to hear in a night club or on late night radio :S

I don't look down on Breeze & Styles for doing this, if they can gain popularity, recognition, and money from it I can understand. I'm sure most of us would do the same thing. In their minds they probably think they're helping Hardcore by making it commercial for all the world to hear and appreciate.

I like both remix packs, but the Hardcore Versions of both songs will always remain my faves.

Pathetic.

As an up and coming producer, if AATW liked one of my tracks and wanted to release it I would gladly agree.

Why? Because its nice to get it out there for starters, and also after spending money in a studio it would be nice to get the money back.

Most people dont release how much it cost to release a track on vinyl.

A release on AATW is a dream for many producers.

Thats a fair enough point, but I still don't understand why they have to change it so much...or is that just Flip'n'Fil and ultrabeat
