Hey whats up all you hardcore ravers, big up for all you guys.
First of all, Hi to everyone, I am a former DJ, used to dj trance, but stopped since I moved locations. I would love to get back on it, but play hardcore music this time, although unfortunately, there aint much support where I live or nearby. I also produce drum & bass, but lost part of my productions cos I had a virus on my computer, this did piss me off big time. I also practise some MCing in my free time, whilst listening to tunes, it aint much, but I wouldnt mind going bigger.
I am originally from Spain, but I moved to England about 2 and a half years ago. Musicwise, the UK offers such a range and opportunity for music that I think it cant be found elsewhere in the world.
I also have some questions about some artists Ill like you to help me out.
I would like to know who is Re-conn? Any info on this artist? I must say his music kiks ass big time, Ive only heard 3 tunes from him (in the Bonkers series), but they are ****** awesome. I love "The Sun", and "Free again" is so powerful. "Right here" is pretty good too.
Also, any info on who is Plus System? Ive tried googling it, but cant find no info. His (or they, if they are a group) music is very similar to Scott Brown's, which is another artist which is awesome. Are they producers rather than DJ's?
Lastly, am i the only one to think hardcore music is played too slow? BPMs range from 168 to 174 max. IMO, to get a more uplifting and adrenaline rush, tunes should be played over 184. I like listening at about 190, fast enough to dance to, yet providing a real kick. Anyone else agree?
if anyone wanna check the drum % bass Ive produced, go here (although they are not the newer tunes):

Plus System is Scott Brown's alias. Scott Brown is a DJ, Producer and Label owner. Go to http://www.evolutionrecords.net for more info about Scott Brown. Some of the commercial CD's are a bit slow, but i think it has always been like that. But there are still many DJ's that play beyond 180bpm :) Oh and welcome to the forums :)

Re-Con is the hardcore alias for one of the members of Ultrabeat, the group who released commercial version of old hardcore tunes such as feelin fine and pretty green eyes.
Think he does their vocals, aswell as his own under the name Re-Con

I play hardcore from 160bpm to 220+bpm, so no it's not too slow

thanks, awesome stuff.
DJSamination, yes I know about makina. Its very popular in the eastern coast of Spain, but not in the rest of Spain. Unfortunatel,y where I am from, we dont listen to makina, but rather, drum & bass. Pastis & Buenri are my favourite. Maquina is also normally played well over 180, which is a bonus.
