i was just curious what poeple use on their channel 3 on their mixers (if you've got one) when your mixing, besides another turntable/cd player.

that's all it's there for,a 3rd deck or cd player
but sometimes there is a switch for that fader to control the microphone level. could be used for that too

I run my 808 through my third channel,so I can switch from live pa to vinyl.

that would be handy.
i would have my pc going through one of my channels (19" 8 channel mixer) but i don't have the right cable so it goes through one of the microphone channels instead

i have a mic and my computer running through my line 3. i love hearing video games through my stereo speakers =)
when i lived w/ my old roommates i had my playstation/n64 going through it. but now since i've moved in w/ my gf we have too much furniture and not enough room to make that happen again =P

yah never know what people do with that third channel =) mine goes into a mic so it's nothing very special. but i figured someone had some nifty deal they had on there so i asked =)

i been meaning to get a minidisc for my stereo. i want one with digital output so i can plug it straight into the computer but can't afford right now :(

yea, thats exactly what i do...run my computer through another channel. thats how i listen to music over my stereo, and playing games as well. its amazing. makes you feel like your in the game.lol. back in my experamental days, i had a couple of cd's, my vcr, my tape deck and two tables all hooked into one mixer. it was crazy.

i have a 3 lines mixer but with line and phono you can plug in more than 3 formats.
my chanels are used for 1 cd player ,my tv,dvd & ps2. and one for my md.
