Was just wondering where people think Hardcores next sound will come from.. Its gone from breaky 2 kiddy sounding to the now trancey sound. Maybe it will sound housey in the next wave, except faster obviously!!

Actually you may find the the earlier stuff takes some influence from House.

a good portion of the 2000 stuff from quosh & dj kaos sounded very hard houseish. in fact some of the tracks today have a bit of a housey sound to them.
I personally think housey-core sounds pretty good...I prefer it to trance =P unless it's really evil sounding trance

I think that hardcore is going to stay with the trancy sound for a while.
Actually, hardcore is soo diverse at the moment that who knows. With artists like K Complex, CLSM, Breeze and Styles, Oli G sounding nothing like each other I'll just say more diversity is what we're in for.

Yep it did use 2 sound more housey.. when u listen to some of vibes old mixes there's a big house influence.. I miss the big piano breakdowns, although the trance sound is great, it would be kool to move on a bit.

I dont miss the piano at all. I think hardcore will eventually make its own sound. Not house not trance nothing like that.
