yea, they're different in the fact that old trancecore is different then new freeform, but that can be attributed to evolution and changes to the genre over the past 8 years.
pre-99 there wasn't freeform.
post-99 there wasn't trancecore.

I like Rave, b*ollex 2 genre's n sub genre's n mini me genre's, If im feelin it i like it, if im not i dont. This killed off the scene back in its hayday, every genre has its 'core even House, u can split hairs 4 eva if ya wanted to but your hair would look silly.
Rave is like the Chaos Theory it'll go on an on

I prefer the old skool stuff you can't beat the cheesey uplifting vocals and piano riffs that started it all no matter what technology is used today they will never match it.

Each sub genre may sound different but you shouldnt pigeon hole it all. If you like one of the so called sub genres, you like hardcore, end of.
