1 word: eBay

eBay is the only way to go, because I got both of my decks for 90 (pounds) {180$} with ship, mixer 30 (pounds) {50$}, and my stereo equipment (including headphones) for 150 (pounds) {300$}

GL mate, welcome to Happy Hardcore.com

Only problem with ebay is that you could be buying some decks that function ok, but the motors are pretty worn out and have hardly any torque.

This is true. My left deck was junked after a month. But hey, for 75$, whaddaya expect! I knew I was getting "not the best." Just remember, you get what you pay for, but one mans trash is another mans treasure.

Decks: SL1200's (vinyl), Pioneer (CD-J)
Mixer: Vestax, Pioneer

I do not recommend Stanton decks... In my limited use of them they don't hold their pitch on high BPM tunes (ie. hardcore)... Vestax are ok but are mainly for hiphop so the plator is really high and the motor you could drive a car with (which I think you don't need... alot of deck companies make up this crap that torque is important... which it isn't in my opinion)...

anyway hope that helps.

Technics 1210's all the way! I got cheap decks when I first started DJing and I really regret not buying 1210's straight away since they are just awsome. I have had no problems with mine ever since and will always stick with them.
