... samples needed for tech step and freeform. The sort that used to be used by the oldskool reinforced hardcore tunes.
Can anybody help me here?
The eerier the better.
If you can't find any samples can someone at least give me a clue as to what hardware is best to use for tech step (not trance!).

www.analogsamples.com have some weird sounds under drones. try www.samplenet.co.uk for the synths. Look under stabs. also, sample from movies for freeform. its done a lot.
