Has anyone had a go on these, when i first heard of them i thought they were a novelty item but then i seen the price tag £849.
Personally i can't imagine them feeling in any way natural to someone who has dj'ed before.
Any opinions.
Here are it's specs
External Input Mixer
Professional Standard PMC-05PRO III circuitry offering excellent reliability, external inputs for each of the 2 channels, and the ability to assign sources from the QFO itself to each channel.
Dynamic Balance Straight Arm
Vestax have adopted a unique method by using the balance of a spring, not using gravity which creates a load, to stabilise the needle pressure. This increases the trace ability, and assists the needle with anti-skip solution, especially during aggressive play.
Direct Drive DC Motor
The motor at the heart of this turntable is the original high torque direct drive motor, giving high stability and reliability proofed by the PDX2000
2 Way Control
2 sets of Start/Stop, 33/45RPM, Reverse and Quartz Lock Control are placed symmetrically with the crossfader in between, allowing the DJ choice and greater selection as to which way to set up the turntable.
180 Degree Spin Slide Pitch Control
Offering total pitch adjustment up to +/-50%, the spin slide control is placed around the platter, making hand movements and operative functions possible at the same time.
Crossfader
The QFO uses high quality PCV crossfaders, the plastic fader that has an established reputation within the PMC05Pro series. The fader settings have been upgraded and designed to withstand vibration during operation of the QFO.

posted about this and the new carl cox mixer a couple months ago. the qfo is pretty fun to play around with. I like the fact that you can plug in an audio source to it.
also like that you can swivel the tone arm to either side, but you can do that with the 2300's too.
it's good to have friends that work for korg/vestax, as well as relatives that work for pioneer =P

Used the carl cox mixer, quite nice except the knobs are really big... I guess for his big hands.
