Ok guys, call me stupid but what is Makina? I take it its another style of hardcore/hard dance but I've only ever heard the name mentioned a couple of times. Please enlighten me!

I might be wrong because i'm just going by the 2 records that I own but its just a style of hardcore, I think it's spanish and it is much the same as UK hardcore bouncy kinda like evolution.

I will be trying to buy some more makina records in the future as the 2 I have are great tracks don't see much of it about in the UK though.

Hi! I´m Dj DaBiZz from Spain,

I am a makina dj and I like happy hardcore very much (except scott brown´s new songs xD)

The Makina style borned in Spain in the 80's and it still alive until the year 2000-2001. Now the style has evolutioned to 'uk sounds' and 'progressive sound', but the essence of makina has lost few years ago..

Now people called makina at all the songs than make few producers (cesar benito, ruboy, gerard requena, cross-b... ) but the really makina is die...

But actually these producers make few goods song too, for example:

Pastis & buenri "Stripped Rmx" (Cesar Benito)
DJ KIVY & DJ CIRILIOX - Voragine (cross-b)
Rolo VS. RAUL LOKURA - Vertigo!! (Gerard Requena)
Arquilonia - Spirit of Warrior (Gerard Requena)
RUBOY VS KURA_TRAUMA (Ruboy)
Makination vol.1 (Ruboy)

+ Makina clubs:

XQUE www.xque.com
PONT AERI www.pontaeri.com
KONTROL www.scorpia.info
DESK

Contact me if you want to hear GOOD MAKINA ;)

Go to www.makination.com for more information too ;)

Sorry for my english :)

Well.. I think that all new songs that make Scott Brown are very similars..

the sounds that he uses are always the same sounds, it´s boring....

I prefer more original songs.. ;)

ah, yes - good suggestion whispering, I might try and get hold of one of these CDs. Dj DaBiZz, is there one in particular that you recommend?

I'd prefer a mix CD, just to get a wider range of producers and, in fact, I don't really like listening to unmixed dance music.
