I use to like alot of the proppa underground uk garage when it was just on the pirate stations, but it is just music to listen to. Not dance to. I would feel like a lemon jigging to this at a club. All the stuff comming out now is complete pants.

Let me know what you think about this music genre.

RNB sucks COCK! in whatever form, garage or otherwise

But I really don't like garage at all. From what I've heard, Garage do's = fight night.
I remember speaking to a security bloke (as you sometimes find yourself!) @ Future Dance 2, when it was at Castle Studios, and he was said that "he loves having the Future Dance events here - normally they play garage here and there's so much trouble that their job is really difficult - but with hardcore do's there is rarely any trouble at all"

 Says it all really.

 | Posted - 2001/11/03 :  04:49:46 A couple of hardcore djs in the states sold out and started spinning garage. Needless to say I dont like them very much any more. I honestly cant stand the shit. since day 1, the weak-ass beat alone has made me gag. the wack phukkin disco-house meets r&b vocals just add to my extreme distaste for the genre. I had never really hated any electronic music (except disco-house itself) until i heard that crap. I really hope that it doesn't get too big in the U.S. If it does, I'll just have to move.... maybe to canada, or spain, or tibet, or some far away place where the obnoxious 2-step will never be heard.... kind of a nice thought......

damn right!! there's manufactured garage bands that are coming out and none of it sounded like the original underground garage that i used to like.
plus it's all the rude boys that listen to it and you can't go to a garage night without some trouble.i'm so glad that there's nothing like that at hhc raves.
and i don't see what's so good about it anymore.all there is to it is a drumbeat, bassline,a cheesy melody and some guy making a fool of himself on the mic coz they think they're ace! lol it makes me laugh seeing them like that.i'll admit there are some good rhymes that some mc's come out with and the odd tune is ok,but that's it

Yeah 138 Trek is a pukka choon. Very well produced. Zincs Drum & Bass and Garage are very simular. 174 trek is the D&B version but theres not much in it from 138.
