I really don't think that you can fairly say that any DJ is the best ever. There are just so many really good ones, and then of course how do you judge how good they are? Beat matching skill? Scratching? Tune selection? Crowd reaction? There's just so many aspects to it. And hardcore is only a small part of the musical spectrum, I've seen DJs do sets that no one would ever dream of, mixing the most unlikely of tunes together and having it still sound good, and you can't really compare them to hardcore DJs because it's such a different way of DJing with using different skills.

For pure entertainment value Sy has gotta be in with a shout, I've not heard many DJ's in the entire dance genre that can even scratch in the same league as him!

As much as I love Mr Brown he actually kind of sucks on the decks. He can mix one tune into another but that's about it. His mixes don't really have much variation in their style, and if you listen carefully you can see where he's changed his mind about what he's doing with the mix halfway through it, like starting to mix a tune in and then cutting it out and starting again, etc etc, with Scott it's all about the tune selection... he just plays the best tracks :)
