recently there was a DJBootCamp here in sydney, and i wrote a lil spiel on it on my other board..

vestax had a million new mixers and tables, but what stood out from them was something i saw in a catalogue...
Now if u know anything about vynil, you will know that it costs ALOT to produce a 14 minute record. From the actualy machine to the engineering etc...
But what these guys have done is release a table, which actually WRITES TO VYNIL!!!!!!!!!
I swear i freaked!!
I couldnt see it in action, but i do have the catalogue sittin in front of me...
now this is amazing shit, coz now even i can cut a record and give it to djs to spin...one problem thou, the blank vynil itself is expensive.
Also the cutter only has the capacity for 20 cuts.
now when u consider that a vynil machine would usually set you back about $200k.. this invention will change the way ppl test their music in the clubs and at parties.
