So, does anyone care for soundtracks? I myself enjoy some of them, but only like anime ones or few movies. Then again, I can tend to be a selective listener and only go through the tracks I like, but eh, somehow they've accumulated atop my shelf and I'm stuck with them

Some that i really like are:
Anime:
Noir, Yuki Kajiura :)
Vandread, the first seasons opening theme is über good :) Also the ending theme on the last episode of season 2 gives me shivers :)
Armitage: Dual Matrix, the DVD had 5.1 version of it. It sounded really good.
TV:
Firefly, it was really a shame that FOX cancelled that show Best TV show ive ever seen. There isnt an OST of that one, but there should be.
Movie:
Requiem for a Dream
Theres a lot more, but cant remember anything else right now.

Oh you should, if you can get a hold of the first few episodes (there are 14 episodes in total), i strongly suggest to watch it. I've had that DVD box for about a month and have watched it 5 times already :)
Eventhough Fox has the rights to the serie for the next 10 years, Universal is making a movie of it called Serenity, it will be in US theaters April 22, 2005 cant wait :) Hope it will be here too at the same time...

I also like gaming soundtracks since they remind me of the game and it's as if you're playing them all over again except less effort ^^;
About firefly, though, lots of anime people complained that it was really just a ripoff of Outlaw Star, but let's not get into that...
I also like one of the Neon Genesis Evangelion soundtracks since not only does it feature remixes of the ending theme song (roughly 11) but it just has really nice music. Also, I've only seen one ep of Noir but I liked the music in it already ^^;

I have Outlaw Star on DVD (Very good serie btw), but they werent the first ones that used deep frozing (or what ever you call it). In Firefly one girl is deep frozed and was carryed in a "box", in Outlaw star there was a girl that was also deep frozed and in a "box". First when i heard the "ripoff" thing, i thought it was a joke. I mean Outlaw Star wasnt even the first one that used it. Hell they even deep freeze ppl in real life (eventhough they dont know how to "melt" them yet), so what other way there is to carry a "frozen" person from place A to place B?

as far as movies go off the top of my head:
natural born killers
star wars
indiana jones (big john williams fan even though the more I listen to him the more stuff I find he ripped off =P)
star trek

Eh, good point. I knew they froze people in real life, hopefully it'll work out for them eventually, somehow... o.o
And about other music composers, my faves are Nobuo Uematsu and perhaps Danny Elfman who does many movies (and the Simpsons theme song, lol).
