Does anyone know where I could find online howto's or guides for the various parts of mixing and scratching? I've read the one on Hyperreal and picked up a few good ideas from it. Are there anymore like this one?

ask silver,he gives good advice on how to mix etc,but the best dj's always teach themselves their own style of dj-ing through non stop practice. assuming you got a setup there just keep practicing on the decks until you get it right, and don't give up either,a lot of us can mix but it's taken us years of practice to get like this. it took me 2 years just to get it right, for some it won't take as long, for others it'll take longer, depends on how good you want to be on the decks.if you want to be a superstar dj you will be,as long as you work at it :)

True. I just leant with my m8. We just kept on mixing and recording them. We would play the tapes back and Laugh at our mistakes, but would make sure to improve on it next time. You can be told the basics, but its up to you to do it your way. Just keep praticing in.

Go under Tech Support, there's a Guide to Mixing. That's one of the many places that I got started. Definitely some good pointers in there. But, like others have said, these are just guides. In the long run, it's practice that makes perfect.

Good luck.
