1st make sure you got a decent spec pc. I got 512mb ram, 2400+ processor and 80 gig hd and it does me fine.
Id recommend cubase seeing as you'll get it in the end anyway...Access Virus C is definately worth it but if you can get a B for cheaper then do that. Theres only minor fixes as they go from A to C and increased polyphony. You don't actually need a midi keyboard - but if you do buy one, thats fine. Most artists just draw the notes into cubase anyway. Kontakt you can't go wrong with :) but i'd recommend getting some VSTi's for extra sounds as your tunes could all sound the same if you only have one synth.
Good luck :D

VSTi's?basiclly if I wanted to get a keyboard, alls that would do is make it so I dont have to draw the notes ?,instead I use the keybaord?I think if I am going to et a keybord too,I will probably go with the access virus kc.since it is just the access virus c synth with a keyboard combined.what other synths would you recamind?

hhhmm well I was looking for the otehr virus models but the only other things I found where the access virus kc keyboard synth, virus c,access virus indigo 2 keyboard.know if I where to spend the money on the access virus c synth and keyboard.would it just be better to just get every thing seperat or could I plug the virus indigo2(virus c in it)into another synth and use that ,or should I just get virus c and a smalermodel keyboard, just asking because I dont know to much since I am a kinda noob at the whole prduction thing and I was looking around and a good midi is like 400 anyway and the virus c alone is 1500.so I figured since the virus indig or virus kc are bolth synth keyboards in oneit might be better that way?or would it be better to have them seperate?
