hi i have timefactory 1.6 , and use it to time stretch trance tracks i like to play at hardcore speed . it has a box which can be checked called preserve formants on it , just wondering if anybody knows what this does and if i should use it for time stretching .
also how does everybody else use programs to time stretch tracks , do u just change the bpm ,or do u do something else aswell .

Thats all I could find, im guessing it speeds the file up by trys not to chipmunk it
did you try clicking on help inside the prog and searching?

speed a track up and the pitch will go up with it. unless you click that...

so best tick this box then for timestretching .also does anyone adjust the semitones or cents when timestretching tracks ?
