...they are called "Chapter 14", and I love their stuff. If you like the Used, Finch, Glassjaw, and Deftones. You will love these guys. Check em' out!!!

Aren't bands like Used and Finch punk rock bands? Yeah...they are I think. LoL. Definitely wrong type of hardcore! =P

heh heh, i know this is a hardcore rave site, but i like all sorts of diff music. imma take a chance and check out this "Chapter 14" hell im up for all sorts of new music ^_^ (however maybe this belongs in music discussion, other genre?) lol, even if it ended up here by mistake.

Same here, but Hardcore/Emu/Punk etc I can't stand.....it seems far to kiddy to me!

hahahaha yeah wrong site mate. Chapter 14 are awful anyway, you wanna be listein to people like Hatebreed and Stampin Ground...now that is HARDCORE (in a rock sense)

How come punkers come to a site named happyhardcore?
I for one wanna hear the punk sub-grene "happy" hardcore.
Sounds as if I might like it.

My bros and I are starting a punk band soon, and since i'll be writing most of the songs, there'll be a defo hardcore influence. We'll even do covers of Break of Dawn and Heart of Gold for fun.

I know loads of punks who like hardcore (of the ravey variety)..... admittedly they prefer the harder end. Theres also loads of thrashers who are into gabber etc...... nothing weird at all about it. If you listen to the vibe of punk, and compare it with the vibe of hardcore then theres not a huge amount of difference.... merely the instruments used IMO

havnt heard these chapter 14 guys but I've seen "Finch" live and they were pretty good. I agree though, that was a good few years ago and it's all a bit childish now.

The term "Punk-Rock" is, I'm not sure how to state it, but like too quickly said? I think...
Like the first thing people think of when they see a band wearing all black and studs, that they're a rock band. These new "rock" bands are starting to sound more like pop!? It's like what they wear or appearence is, makes their music rock...
Yeah...Anyways. I may be going to a show or concert or whatever towards the end of June. I just need to find more information about it first.
