Hey guys. I'm pretty new here, I found this site through Simon Voakes (he post a thread where he remixed my track, 'Khemikal Awakenings'). Anyways, I know this is a hardcore site, but the "other genre" forum DOES exist, so what the hell, right?
This ones been getting a lot of good comments. I had to classify it in the tend-to-catch-all category of electronica because nobody seems to know what it is...it's a huge blend of a lot of styles. I SHAMELESSLY used two Yamaha presets, the guitar sound in the beginning and the voice-type sound you first hear in the song - although I did tweak them a bit, expecially the voice. In the very beginning it puts forth a standard four-to-the-floor techno beat, but as the song progresses it becomes taken over by triplets and ends up a breakish style drumbeat. Dunno.
