I don't understand it.

Most people can find a sweet job in a matter of days. I've been trying for months and I've found nothing.

I just want a boring 9-5 job in a IT deparment.

Skills: Many years of experience. Knows Win 95/98/NT4/2000/XP. Knows lots of funky LAN stuff. Has good looks.

What more can you want??

Has any one else had this sort of a problem? They have the skills but no work??

Hey ryg0r, I know I'm young but I still been working for a long time. I know the biggest pain in the ass when you try to find a job is the interview- I had to work on my interview skills a ton. If that's not the problem, then it could be that you need to make yourself known to the people higher up; call them, let them know you are interested in working, and ask what you have to do to get a job with them. Even if they don't really tell you anything usefull, you at least made them aware of your desire to work, and they will remember you. It may not be much advice, but it worked for me, so I'm passing it along to you, I hope it helps.

Ryg0r it all depends on what kind of Job you want, i myself have a crappy job working at little ceasers, but, im only 17 and in school so it's a start, but for you, let me ask you a question, are you biligual? because if you are that can be a huge point (i have seen you can traslate my Spanish quotes so im naturally assuming you are) and judging from your picture (which brings me to a scary thought, you look EXCACTLY like my cousin) and your last name you must be hispanic, or of hispanic decent, but none of this has to do with anything, but if you are looking for a good job, then yeah, you need to look all formal use formal lauguage, wear a tie, etc, etc

what i would like to do, i would like to enroll in the J.E.T program (Japanese English Teacher i think that interview, i could imangine, could be VERY difficult but eather way
keep looking you'll find somthing

I know how you feel man! Almost a year at this music store and they cut my hours from 35/week to 4/week and still cant find a job.

I'm now learning mixology in hopes of becoming a bartender. 1st day of class was today and it was the best experience in an educational enviorment i've ever had.

To tell you the truth, I don't care when I were I just want money and time to continue with my other projects (like this one http://www.commandobot.com/uploads/trance1.ogg )

As a matter of fact I am bilingual (English and Spanish) and my parents are Drug Baro.... I mean Colombians (how silly of me )

The problem is that I don't even get to the interview stage, and it gives me the craps.
