i dont know if this is illegal to ask, (if it is then sorry - dont abuse, i'll just delete it...) but does anybody out there know how to change mp3 files to wav files? I'm making my own little web page on Geocities.com and i can only have music on there thats in wav format... But all of my music is in mp3...
anybody in the know how?

Its definetely not illegal..Go to download.com or Google and get a mp3->wav converter :)

ooh... it said about 5 different file types that are allowed, but i remembered .wav... (i've just downloaded a converter) i'll find the others i'm allowed to convert them in now...

should i just stick with the WMA? i mean, i'm just gonna convert one of them and put it on my site... It can't be that bad can it?

Do Ogg thats the best as far as i know...Best quality in a smaller file :)

Ok, first things first.
You can use winamp to convert mp3's to wav. Simple:
Ctrl - P (Preferences) -> Plugins -> Output -> Diskwriter Plugin.
Just make sure you change it back to waveout, or direct sound. I can't imagine why you'd want to change from mp3 to wav. It doesn't change the quality and most program can import the mp3s without them having to be converted
Ok, second thing. Ogg files!! I love them. I rip straight into Ogg. You can find out more about Ogg at www.vorbis.com.

(trust me I did it)

you can choose from Studio Quality all the way down to pants!
converts ogg wav mp3 etc etc
