I say "again" because I searched the boards and found many answers...but the ones I already knew. Anyway, here goes.
I have DJ Magical's remix of Jane Wielden's Rush Hour.
However, I recently heard there is a mix that VG did that combines that with Electric Dreams by (somebody) and Huxley. I also have that song on tape somewhere. Anyway, as you can see the dude at the record store didn't have a clue about what I was saying when I asked for the VG version.
Now, I found it online under the title of "Best of 1998"... what the hell is that? Regardless, I could care less about having an mp3 of it, I want the record.
So, here is my questions:
1) Did VG actually do this or did some clown combine them and slap his name on it?
2) What is the ACTUAL name?
3) If applicable, what album is it on?
If I knew the actual name, I could actually buy it!

Don't know about the 'Electric dreams' mash up but look out for
Remix Records 003
Dj Magical - Rush hour
Vinylgroover remix
Kaos & Huxley remix
Maybe that's where the confusion lies - they both remixed it on the same 12"

I was at discogs.com and found the same info. However, I don't see track length and that is critical. The mysterious VG "combination" remix is 10 minutes long.
Two different spots that sell it online couldnt provide track length.

That sounds a bit dodgy to me to be honest!!
10 minutes long? Definitely sounds like 2 songs stuck together.

That's the thing, I can't tell if it is an actual song or just some individual's project. If it is, the guy did a spectacular job because the two songs mix perfectly...he should be pro.
The title according to this mp3 (hardly reliable) is Vinylgroover - Best of 1998 (Magical Remix).
This is driving me batshit

Answer found. Now I gotta find where to order it. CD would be fine.
http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&uid=UIDSUB040402180114583238&sql=Ab2fibks9kakc Apparenrtly, VG hopped on and did a slew of remixes of Magical's Rush Hour. What a great song by Wiedlen, Magical, and then VG

Sorry that I am bringing up such an OLD thread.
But I am hoping that one of the original posters see this.
I have been trying to locate the CD these two tracks mixed together appear on for quite a few years to no avail. I attempted the all music link above but it does not lead to any information now...
Anyone know what CD it was exactly?

I dont think it was a CD
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10NY6BGI5Zo A "Best of 1998" mix by Frisky starts with VG's remix of Rush Hour and then goes into a version of Electric Dream . It's not the Kaos & Huxley version, nor the Street Talk version either (Always be Together)

Thanks Samination and DJ A.K.
I really appreciate you answering me so quick (and on such an old thread).
Holy moly I was given the first half of this song on a mix CD for my birthday in 2004 and it just suddenly cut off where it transitioned to the part where it said "always be together, forever in electric dreams".
I have searched in many places, bought records and CD's to no avail to find the full version of this tune.
Thnak you so much for getting back to me with this answer, I can't even begin to express how much this has made my day!
Kind regards,
G2.

I listened to that track, but didnt think it was that
Talk about how playing things much faster or slower screws with the perspective.
