Here's the deal: I got some foldable crates at IKEA to hold my records and they've been fine until recently. Because I have too many records, I picked them up once and they broke. So I am in need of some sturdy, non-foldable crates. I just bought some on e-bay for $10 each and today found out records don't fit in them so I just waisted $40.
Can someone direct me to a store in USA or location online that has some kind of crates? Or can someone donate, please.

I went to a place like ikea in Tokyo with a 12" record and stuck it into everything until I found something for like 40 bucks that holds about 500 records... sweet....

No. I'm not looking for record cases, I'm looking for crates. Kinda like milk crates but ones that will fit my records. The ones I got are JUST a bit too small so it won't fit any records.
Someone please help me, my broken ones are overflowing!

Yeah, I'm just looking for milk crates to store all my records. I just can't find them. I guess I'll go to Target and ask but they usually are so clueless and just go, "Well... if it's not there, we don't have them."

u dont buy milk crates... or at least i didnt. u take them... they cost the store about 55 cents a pop.. theyre usually around the back of supermarkets where the trucks unload (outside). If u feel morally wrong about committing such an act go in the store and buy sum stuff so theyre not actually losing money.

i've got a few of these http://www.bookcrates.com they hold a bit more than your standard milk crate and plus you can stain them "we'll delete the weak"

they're a tiny bit too small, but unless its a record with a big cardboard sleeve, it'll fit fine.. and you just put those in a tiny bit sideways, and it's fine..

I had a bunch of crates that are all odd sizes that kinda fit records if they are on a angle and such. I ended up replacing most of them with crates that I got at my local record shop. They hold about 50-75 records each (I think) and they are stackable. If you are in the Bay Area drop me a PM and ill let ya know where. I also heard that Ikea sells some type of bookcases that hold records rather well. Not the same as crates but its all good as long as you don't need to move em.

There's a company called yaffa that manufactures a line of products called yaffa blocks, their crates work well (and they have cute bubbles on the side!)
