Uptempo rang me about aug last year to ask if i wanted to buy there old stock because they wanted to empty the warehouse and start fresh.
Any way i took 300 mixed releases adding up to 30.000 records at a very knock down price.
Then i found out that they sold me them to pay off money they owed to pressing a plant.
Then i was told by a spanish friend who worked there that they owed lots of money to other record companys for licence fees.
Then sept last year tempo went bust and i have the last of there 12" stock and cd compilations.
The uptempo's on this site must be from destiny records because they are all the same releases i sold them.
I might be wrong but i dont think so.

No tempo will have to pay a lot of people off from all over the world on licence fees if they want to open under the tempo name again.
Most of there staff has gone to other companys but the same owner might open a new company to avoid paying the fees.

Scott, if u read Blandy's profile on ultimatebuzz he says he wants 2 set up a rave in Newcastle. Not think this is a gud idea coz it is a bit of a piss take for Geordies having 2 travel to sunderland or where eva??? I think more promoters shud luk into setting up raves in Newcastle.
Been lookin thru the pics on keepitsafe (on ur trip 2 Barcelona last yr) wicked pic of u in the taxi lookin smashed lol!!!

Would love to set up a event in newcastle i have even looked about and 99% of the clubs are full every main night.
I have even looked into the uni were bassy g had J/DAY and they wont pull on due to the hassle J/DAY ravers started the last few months before it ended.
There was one there not long ago TUFF but it didnt get many people in they put the wrong line up on and this one and that one who would do it for nowt and the lad lost 1000S by trying to save 1000s it on.
That pic in the taxi is a bad mug shot.
