I'd recommend just buying tunes you like mate, don't worry too much about the mixing until you start to build your collection up.

plus u can find that some tunes actually play at almost the same speed like Total XTC - Breeze & Styles
&
Wonderful Life - G-Spencer Meets Dougal & Gammer

There should only be a slight difference in the speed but as the last person said

Try n stick to newer stuff like Raver Baby and Evolution, older stuff tends to have more breaks. Basically something with a nice solid beat thro most of the track is easiest. Songs you know and like are best though as they peeps said becoz you know the track and when to mix in/out

It's all about speed control and counting in fours (hence 4-beat hardcore). I don't actually count out loud. After a couple weeks, you just start to feel it. That's how I learned......been doin' it for about a year now.

WANTED!

^^I actually find some breakbeat is easier to mix and is more fun because theres more percussion to get it right ,heeh ,But if you mess up then its dog's poo....

you'll wanna be buying a few raver baby vinyls really - most start with a 4/4 kick intro so they'll be easy to learn. But i find if you buy tracks that really make you rush, and have a hard to mix intro, its quite easy, the main thing is to feel the music

1 tip - BLAST IT OUT

As stated before, Raver Baby stuff is usually super easy to mix. They almost always have solid beat intros and predictable counts.
