Ive got apair of numark ttx-1 decks and so far they have been great to me. About 2 weeks ago however i moved everything and had to redo all the tonearm settings etc. Now i have a problem that the record seems to be running a little quicker once it gets to the end than at the start. which is a pain if ive got a tune in time perfectly at the start of another tune and then when it comes to mixing it its always a fraction slow.

Could this be anything t do with the way i have set up the tonearm ???

Nah theire only 6 months old and ive tested em. Playing the same track on both decks the beats will match all the way through the tune.

I actually think the problem may be the slipmats. As they dont seem to be too good.

yeah tried that. Seems better with the old technics slipmatts back on. It cant just be faulty decks coz it only happens towards the end of tunes and they only speed up a fraction. Never slow down

I guess it's a good excuse to buy some new slipmatts
