Hi every1,

This might seem like a weird question cos of these decks being pretty old but what are the 'Numark TT100s' like?

Its only because i can get a pair cheap and woundered how good they were.

Cheers

Crap. Crap. Crap.

Those turntables are belt drive. They're laggy and you most definitely cannot scratch or mix on them. Maybe if you wanted to listen to music...

TT100's are definitely direct drive - and even if they weren't it shouldn't be the end of the world.

Many years ago, i learned to mix on belt drives and i managed pretty well - in fact, it made mixing so much easier when i moved up to direct drives so don't be totally put off by belt drives if you just want something simple to use at home.

Belt drives are evil.... EVIL I tell you... Every deck is different because the belt gets worn and slips at different rates... so even if you can mix on your belt drives at your house it does not mean you can mix on all belt drives.

i REFUSE to mess with belt drives..and honestly...they kinda scare me.

Directs are what you wanna go with, high quality, low quality..it doesn't matter as long as it's a direct drive..it's SO much better then dealing with belts...belts will just let you down..over and over and OVER again.
