Sup everyone,

Im extremely new to Happy Hardcore, my friend told me to listen to this song shooting star by Anabolic Frolic, and i absolutly loved it. So i jumped on the interweb and did some research, which lead me to this site. If its not to much trouble could you guys suggest some DJs, CDs, or individual choons for me to give a listen to?

Thanks

Mindless Flow

Dune - Million Miles away from home
Dune - Hardcore Vibes
DJ Liquid - I can't stop raving
Charly Lownoise & theo - wonderful days
(?? not 100% on DJ, might be DJ Sy) - Sailaway
anything by Force and Styles

should be a good start :D

Well first of all, "shooting star" is by Bang, and Anabolic Frolic is a dj who put that song on one of his cd's on his "Happy 2b Hardcore" series on moonshine..

Some cd's you should check out are the Bonkers series on React, they're the biggest and most well known hardcore cd's world-wide. They feature some of the UK's biggest Hardcore DJ's such as Sharkey, Scott Brown, Hixxy, Dougal, Sy, Vibes, etc.. Being from the states, you should also check out the Happy 2b Hardcore series, as it comes out of North America.

sorry to ask so many questions.....

is there a store (chains, cuz there arent any "mom and pop" music stores around where i live) in the US that will def have some happy hardcore cds or vinyls or is it pretty much hit or miss? Or is it better to just buy online?

FYE should have quite a few of the H2bHC cd's and Im sure they could order a few of the others if they've been released in the states.

That is, if there is an FYE near you. Expect the cd to run about 18.99us

...do it hardcore...

you can find the odd hardcore cd in some big chain stores in the USA.. there are specialist stores that sell lots of hardcore cd's and vinyl, but i buy most of my cds/vinyl over the internet.. some good stores:

shop.happyhardcore.com
www.juno.co.uk
phusionrecords.com
outerspacerecords.com

well it's nice to see you people are so friendly to new comers like me.

And fyi, there is a DJ Liquid version of "I can't stop raving". There's loads of mixes of it including a Dune one and a DJ Liquid.

dune is the real artist behind that track, if you want to see what is really up with the tracks, look in the record database and you'll find oodles of info and what CDs/Records you can pick 'em up on
