Fruityloops help

hiya

i have fruityloops and i recently got the VStation plug in, the sounds are good but i cant get the new sounds to stop, they continue on for ever into the song, ive tried fiddeling with the settings but with no joy :(

here is an example of what i mean:

synth 1: ------------------------------------------------------------

synth 2: ------------------------------

and here is what i want it to do:

synth 1: ------------------------------

synth 2: -------------------------------

....but i have no idea how! its really getting on my nerves :(

um...try turning the release down? lol...

if not, try playing the sound, then hitting stop, and if it carrys on, its either a bug or a setting. Try right clicking on the channel and pressing 'cut itself' although that shouldnt change it...

hmm...i'll have to see if thats any good before i waffle on.

it works but it shortens the sound so short that its too short for what i want, and i cant 'stretch' the sound, well i dont know how...

try adding some decay and sustain, that will sort out the shortness problem

oh and, if you're putting it into the step sequencer and not the piano roll, theres your problem. Right click on the channel (must be on the pattern with the notes in) and hit send to piano roll. wala :)
