As there seems to be a curious trend from time to time seeing very old threads bumped up it reminds me of one old thread I saw from 2002 about Flip and Fill - Shooting Star which of course was a bootleg of the famous Bang! release from 1997/1998
It seemed like there was a debate 20 years ago about the likes of Flip and Fill doing remakes of the Happy Hardcore classics which where really only a couple of years old at that time anyway. Some people of course did not like this commercialisation which was a debate for years afterwards but I think that there where people not bothered. I think that silver himself did say that he did not mind the track.
So after 20 years can we say that Flip and Fill and their releases where not that bad? Their production standards where always good, the releases uplifting and they threw a new take onto what was already seen as classics.
For me personally this one was a personal favourite 20 years ago. It has aged well:
Bonus. Brisk and Ham's Stimulant DJ's remix. The only known remix of this by them:

i think their remixes helped make the scene grow quicker all those years ago. did flip n fill do field of dreams aswell? i liked that one, can remember who done it tho. breeze and styles done a remix too, which i loved, very uplifting in that early 2000s trance vibe

This version is a hint of what UL Hardcore was going to sound like over the following years only of course this was a slower tempo:

They were not bootlegs they were cover songs. They worked at the time and sold well from the people I talked to (including the top of AATW who used to take my calls when I wanted some news). The songs came out around abotu the same time Ultrabeat was kicking off and those covers did well. If people liked the tunes then its not really a problem, just a different genre.
Or you mean their only remix under their Stimulant DJs alias?
ith smoogie you never know what he means

I really did not like the Flip & Fill commercialisation of hardcore tunes at the time but I think possys2 is right in that it inadvertently helped the hardcore scene gather more interest.
