ive got sum really wank speakerz 4 my dekz at the moment so i wont 2 get sum beta 1z.

If ur looking to connect them up to ur decks then no. Ur best getting hold of a pretty decent Amplifier then buying some basic monitors (or speakers).
The pic of that 'boombox' or woteva luks like a CD player more than anything so save ur dosh n save up for an amp n monitors. far better in the long run!!

Buy what djmyers suggested, you can also use PS2/CD walkman/PC etc as CD player, so that you dont have to buy everything at the same time. First you just need an amplifier and good speakers...
Then buy a Subwoofer if you want to make your room shake. I bought the cheapest i could get, its good with movies (slow bass) and bad with music (fast bass), but i can make my windows shake with it. I live in an apartment building so i cant use anything too loud :(

Since im getting monitor speakers ,Is an amp an amp or do you need a good amp ,as in are all amps the same or is one better than the other (for sound quality etc) .I was thinking of getting this http://www.richersounds.com/index.php?f=itemdetl.php&p=301415 As its quite cheap ,any good?

yea mate that amps not bad, good no thrills model with fairly decent sound, might struggle with the bass if ya push it too far though.

that amp looks kool, theres a richer sounds shop near me so i fink im gona buy 1 lol. hav u seen the speaker packages? they look mint .

ok mate! i have the sweetest monitor audio speakers and a beautiful N.A.D. amp - I nicked em off me dad, dunno how much they cost back in the day but I recon it musta been quite a lot cos I aint heard many setups that sound better...
